By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Woosha (“the App,” “the Service,” or “Woosha”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
During account creation you are asked to affirmatively indicate your agreement to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy before you can proceed. We record the date, time, and version of the documents you accepted, and you may request a copy of that record at any time by emailing legal@woosha.app.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Epic Media, LLC (“Epic Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a single-member limited liability company organized under the laws of Alabama, United States, based in Huntsville, Alabama.
We may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 15.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Woosha. By using this App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, do not use this App. We do not knowingly provide services to minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data.
You further represent and warrant that:
Woosha is a consumer wellness application. Nothing in this application constitutes medical advice, a clinical diagnosis, or a recommendation for any course of treatment or care.
Woosha is not a medical device as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and it has not been reviewed or approved by the FDA for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose. Use of Woosha does not establish a physician-patient relationship, a therapist-client relationship, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and Epic Media, LLC.
Epic Media, LLC is not a covered entity or a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and information you enter into Woosha is not protected health information under HIPAA. Our handling of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Standardized instruments available within this application are provided for personal self-monitoring and educational awareness only. Scores generated in Woosha carry no diagnostic weight and require interpretation by a licensed clinician with knowledge of your full clinical history. Woosha uses the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item scale (GAD-7), developed by Drs. Robert L. Spitzer, Janet B.W. Williams, Kurt Kroenke and colleagues, with an educational grant from Pfizer Inc. Woosha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the authors of that instrument or by Pfizer Inc.
Please consult a licensed mental health professional if:
Deep Relaxation. Woosha’s Deep Relaxation feature offers guided breathing and muscle relaxation exercises for general stress management. This feature is a consumer wellness tool. It is not clinical therapy and is not equivalent to relaxation protocols administered in a therapeutic setting by a licensed professional.
Assumption of Risk for Meditation and Relaxation Practices. While there is research suggesting that meditation and relaxation practices can support mental wellness for many people, Woosha makes no guarantees that these features will provide a therapeutic or physical benefit for you. There have been rare reports of people with certain psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and dissociative disorders, experiencing worsening symptoms in conjunction with intensive meditation, breathing, or relaxation practices. If you have an existing mental health condition, speak with your healthcare provider before beginning or intensifying any meditation or relaxation practice, including those offered in Woosha.
Flow. Woosha’s Flow feature presents guided video content that uses alternating rhythmic visual movement. It is a consumer wellness tool for general stress relief. It is not therapy, it is not equivalent to any clinical protocol, and Woosha claims no affiliation with the EMDR International Association or any professional body.
Before you use Flow for the first time, the App asks you to confirm that you have read and understood this advisory. You should not use Flow, without first speaking to your treating clinician, if you have an active PTSD diagnosis, a history of dissociation or depersonalization disorder, experienced acute trauma within the preceding three months, have a severe anxiety disorder without current clinical support, have a seizure disorder or photosensitive epilepsy, or have active psychosis or hallucinations. Flow is optional and can be skipped, and no other part of the App depends on it. If at any point during a Flow session you feel distressed, disoriented, or overwhelmed, stop the session immediately. You can close Flow at any time using the back button.
Bilateral Stimulation. Woosha’s Bilateral Stimulation feature is not available in the current release and is shown in the App as a forthcoming feature. It cannot be accessed and no data is collected in connection with it. If and when it is released, we will publish the applicable advisories and any access conditions before it becomes available to you, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.
Forthcoming features generally. Several items are visible in the App marked as forthcoming, including Bilateral Stimulation, Find a Therapist, the Therapist Portal, and connected device integrations such as Apple Health and the Oura Ring. None of these is available, none collects or transmits any data, and nothing in these Terms grants you access to them or commits us to releasing them. Each will be governed by terms published before it becomes available.
Cycle-Anxiety Correlation Analysis. If you enable cycle tracking, the app runs a statistical analysis on your check-in anxiety levels and your logged period dates to detect whether you have a personal pattern of anxiety that correlates with your cycle. This analysis is performed on your device using only your own data. It is not a medical diagnosis. The findings are descriptive, not predictive. They describe what your data shows, but cycles, hormones, and anxiety are influenced by many factors beyond what we measure. Do not use these findings to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare provider.
AI-Generated Content and Assumption of Risk. Woosha’s optional AI features (Weekly Insights, Predictions, Thought Reframing Suggestions, Socratic Questioning and Fear Ladder) generate content using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or contrary to established clinical guidance. AI content is for personal reflection only, not clinical guidance. See our AI Disclosure for details.
Some AI features send text exactly as you have typed it to our AI provider. Our AI Disclosure sets out, feature by feature, what is sent. Please read it before enabling AI features and consider what you choose to write.
By enabling AI features, you acknowledge and agree that:
Exposure and Reframing Exercises. Woosha includes evidence-based techniques such as thought reframing and gradual exposure exercises. These techniques ask you to engage directly with anxious thoughts, which is a legitimate therapeutic principle but can feel uncomfortable. If you are currently in a mental health crisis, currently in intensive therapy for panic or anxiety, or have a history of severe trauma, please consult with your therapist before using these features. These features are optional and can be skipped.
Interactive and Game Features. Woosha includes light interactive features intended as distraction and grounding activities. They are entertainment and general wellness features. They are not therapeutic interventions, are not assessments, and no score or result within them means anything about your mental health.
Woosha does not provide therapy, counseling, or professional mental health services. All features are for wellness, education, and stress management only.
Techniques in this app that are inspired by therapeutic modalities (cognitive behavioral techniques, exposure exercises, mindfulness meditation) are simplified consumer wellness adaptations. They are not substitutes for professional therapy or mental health treatment.
Woosha is not a crisis service, real-time monitoring service, or emergency response system. For mental health emergencies:
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
You may not share your account with others or transfer your account to another person. Each person using the Service must have their own individual account.
Woosha may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscription terms:
If you have subscription issues, first contact the App Store or Play Store where you purchased. For other subscription questions, contact support@woosha.app.
You use Woosha at your own risk. We make no guarantees about specific outcomes or results.
Individual results may vary. The techniques provided in this App may not be suitable for everyone. If you experience any adverse effects or worsening symptoms while using this App, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
You agree not to:
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.
Woosha does not monitor your account, does not review your entries, and has no mechanism for detecting that you may be at risk. We do not scan your journal or reframing entries, and we do not report anything you write to any authority, employer, insurer, family member, or other third party.
In the rare event that information is brought to our attention outside the App, by you or by someone else, which leads us to believe in good faith that there is an imminent risk of serious harm to you or to another identifiable person, we may contact emergency services and disclose the minimum information necessary for them to respond. This is a narrow exception and does not create any duty on our part to monitor, to detect risk, or to intervene, and you must not rely on it. If you are in danger, contact 911 or 988 directly.
All content, features, and functionality of Woosha, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, software, and the design and arrangement thereof, are owned by Epic Media, LLC or our licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to:
Any use of the App or its content other than as expressly authorized in these Terms terminates the license granted to you and violates our intellectual property rights.
Certain educational material in the App describes concepts and classifications drawn from published professional literature, including the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. That material is summarised and paraphrased for general educational purposes. Woosha is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Psychiatric Association or any other professional body, and no diagnostic criteria are reproduced as a diagnostic instrument.
You retain ownership of the content you create in Woosha (journal entries, thought reframing entries, custom symptoms, and similar). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not:
If you enable AI features, content you have written is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. For some features this is text exactly as you typed it. Our AI Disclosure sets out what is sent for each feature, and our Privacy Policy explains how that data is handled. Anthropic’s commercial terms provide that it does not use API inputs or outputs to train its models.
The App integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Sentry, RevenueCat, Anthropic, Apple, Google). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services beyond what is disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of any linked third-party site.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPIC MEDIA, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD).
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS OUR LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
If you have PTSD, trauma, panic disorder, or other mental health conditions, consult a licensed therapist before using Flow, exposure, or reframing features. While Woosha may provide temporary relief, it is not designed to treat or cure mental health conditions. Professional help is essential for proper diagnosis and treatment.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Epic Media, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:
Trivial changes (formatting, typo corrections, clarifications that do not affect your rights or our obligations) do not require notification.
Your continued use of the App after material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from Settings, then My Data, then Delete All Data.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for:
Upon termination:
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, network infrastructure failures, strikes, or shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of any mandatory consumer protection law of the state in which you reside.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@woosha.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court.
Except where prohibited by law, you and Epic Media, LLC each waive any constitutional and statutory rights to have a trial in front of a judge or jury. You and Epic Media, LLC instead elect to have claims and disputes resolved by arbitration as described above. In any litigation between you and Epic Media, LLC over whether to vacate or enforce an arbitration award, you and Epic Media, LLC each waive all rights to a jury trial, and instead elect to have the dispute resolved by a judge.
You have the right to opt out of binding arbitration by providing us with written notice of your desire to do so by email at legal@woosha.app within thirty (30) days of first agreeing to these Terms. In order to be effective, your opt-out notice must include your full name, mailing address, and email address associated with your account, and clearly indicate your intent to opt out of binding arbitration. If you opt out of binding arbitration, you agree to resolve disputes in accordance with the Governing Law section above, in a court of competent jurisdiction in Alabama.
Opting out will not affect your account, your subscription, or any other aspect of your use of the App.
You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis, not as a class action, collective action, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Epic Media, LLC.
If this class action waiver is found to be unenforceable as to a particular claim, then that claim, and only that claim, shall be severed from the arbitration and brought in a court of competent jurisdiction. The remainder of this Section shall continue to apply.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may:
Any claim arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, or be forever barred. This limitation does not apply where the applicable law of your state of residence prohibits the shortening of a limitation period.
We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe that content available through the App infringes your copyright, please notify us with:
Send DMCA notices to: legal@woosha.app
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, our AI Disclosure, our Medical Disclaimer, and any other legal notices published by us within the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and Epic Media, LLC concerning the App.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will give you notice before your personal data becomes subject to a different privacy policy, and your consumer health data will not be transferred except in accordance with our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
We may provide notices to you via email, in-app notifications, or by posting on our website. You may provide notices to us at support@woosha.app.

You acknowledge that electronic communications may not always be a completely secure means of communication. We will limit the amount and type of sensitive information disclosed in unencrypted communications.
Applicable laws may require that some communications from us be in writing. You agree to transact with us electronically, and acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information, and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You have the right to receive a paper copy of any such communication by emailing legal@woosha.app and specifying the communication you wish to receive in paper form.
We do not currently collect phone numbers or send SMS messages. If we introduce SMS-based features in the future, they will be opt-in only, we will obtain your prior express written consent where required, you will be able to unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP, and standard messaging rates from your carrier will apply.
You can manage your notification preferences at any time in Settings, then Notifications, or unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
